Week 5 - RSS Feeds
I am still getting used to the idea of RSS feeds. I am using some but this project is making me look a little deeper into the purpose or use of RSS feeds.
I chose to go with Google Reader because the library already had a gmail account set up. I watched the Google Reader videos that were posted on the 23 Things website.
I set up RSS feeds for Unshelved because I like the library humor and I need a daily dose of it. I set up a feed for State Library of Kansas blog page because I am always digging back through my emails to find the one article that I am looking for. The tags will be useful on the SKL page because I won’t have to read through every article to find the one that I am looking for.
I am looking forward to using this application. Next step is to get a RSS blogline on the library blogspot so I can highlight certain blogs on the library’s blog.
